I wasn’t sure what to expect and don’t like dental visits. However, the staff and Dr. Blount were professional and very informative. Explanations were given of what I needed done. Dr Edmunds is an amazing surgeon, especially knowledgeable and skilled at performing more complicated cases. He’s done extensive work on my mouth over the years, all of which has been excellent. He’s also very good with explaining any procedure before hand and his post procedure follow up is also prompt and caring. His team of surgical assistants are always excellent as well and it’s always evident that they are both highly trained and attentive. Plus, everyone really seems to enjoy working together and their professions. Like all good providers though, Dr Edmunds is generally booked out months in advance but they also have other highly trained oral surgeons in their group practice.

Every part of my experience was excellent. I was able to get an appointment about 5 months out, which was fine, since this extraction was not urgent. In the office today I really quite fell in love with the dental assistant, Heather. She was kind and friendly, and checked attentively on my comfort at all stages. And when what looked like a horse-size dose of Novocain was being injected (almost totally painlessly by the excellent Dr Albanese She just gently stoked my arm as a comforting distraction. Dr Albanese always alerted me to what he was about to do. Getting a big back molar with two roots out can’t be exactly fun, and it took about 30-40 minutes, I think, but I was never in pain and I always had the assurance that I could ask for a pause or more Novocain if necessary. After-care was explained carefully and I got a follow up appointment before leaving. I had 2 implants from them about 20 years ago - they were excellent then and they’re excellent now.

Fantastic from start to finish! Working with my particular issues with good humor and patience throughout. Only issue is maybe send people home with some more gauze, would have made drive home a touch easier. No issues afterwards besides expected pain, called to check on me a 2x over the course of a week. 9.9/10

I’ve always had a good experience here. Dr. Theberge has done two extractions on me, both easy and painless. He always makes sure my options are clear and is a great listener. The office staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. In today’s visit, Anne was delightful!

I was very impressed by Dr. Edmunds and the staff at Connecticut Valley Oral Surgery Associates. I have a condition that causes my throat to close up if a piece of dust, saliva or other small item irritates my throat, making it hard to breathe. This makes visits to the dentist somewhat nerve-wracking. However, the staff listened to me, took my concerns seriously, explained what I should do if I did have this problem, and were very reassuring. I liked that Dr. Edmonds explained exactly what he was doing and took the time to listen to and answer my questions. I highly reccomend the practice to anyone requiring oral surgery.

I couldn’t believe how easy my tooth extraction was. I was in and out of the office in less than 25 minutes, with virtually no discomfort. Such a smooth, painless process... I can’t imagine it going any better! That #14 tooth had been there for me for more than five decades, and I’m sure I’ll miss it, but I have great appreciation for Dr. Blount and the amazing Connecticut Valley Oral Surgery team for such an easy, caring, and painless experience.
