Had a dental implant placed, and over the course of 3 stages needed for placement, never had a bad experience. I recently had a tooth extraction. Dr, Theberge explained everything he was going to do. Had the tooth removed in a couple of minutes.I was in and out of the office in less than a half hour.
Most important to me was the fact that both Jess and Dr. Theberge made me feel so comfortable. It was like visiting with a good friend.
Being a "seasoned" adult it is nice to know that there is still professionals like Dr. Theberge and Jess that remember they are dealing with PEOPLE! There was little to no waiting time once in the office. I was in and out in 30 minutes! The appointment started right on time and staff met me at the door with paperwork and reassurance. Dr Theberge answered all my questions and the procedure took minutes with constant communication between me and the staff. Aftercare directions were given both verbally and written, very helpful. Strongly recommend Connecticut Valley Oral Surgery Associates for any oral surgery needs. Office Staff are Rude, Condescending
Valiere Office Mgr. lets staff act terrible in front of patients.. - chris pierce This is primarily for the Brattleboro office and secondarily for the Greenfield office.
My mother had to have ten (yes, 10!) teeth removed at one time. We live in Greenfield, but since there was a long wait-time at that office, the staff there got us a much earlier appointment at the Brattleboro office, which is still within reasonable distance.
Both staffs were incredibly nice, organized, and helpful. My mother, who is about to turn 80, preferred to have local anesthetic for health reasons--no easy aspect to juggle with so many extractions, but her oral surgeon was incredibly careful and thoughtful, checking in with her regularly and working with phenomenal skill AND speed to get her through the ordeal as quickly as possible. She said he was almost as wrung out as she was by the end!
The staff was just as dedicated with follow-up care, which is particularly important for someone my mother's age (and doubly so with some high-risk health concerns during this terrible pandemic).

I had been putting off getting this procedure for years, and had bad experiences with consults in the past. But, as I couldn't wait any longer, and after speaking with him for the referral, he put me at ease about the idea of going under, and listened to all of my concerns.
I will, for sure, recommend Dr. Blount to anybody that is looking for someone for this procedure. I wish the receptionist had explained the anesthesia options to me when I booked the appointment, as I assumed I would be "put under". Even then, when I called her the week before to confirm this and, to my dismay was told that they do not do that without a consultation appointment (which would have delayed my extraction by another month!), I told her I would like the nitrous oxides and she failed to note that. I was almost unable to get it due to having eaten that morning (again....would have been nice to know). But my time in the chair was literally painless. I had a molar extracted and had no pain at any time. My recovery has been much better than anticipated. The follow-up phone call by office staff the following day was appreciated as well. I can highly recommend Dr Theberge and his staff. - Jill M From the time I arrived until I was done i felt very at ease.
